Senior Project Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer (Pre-Project) who will lead the pre-contract activities for L1, L2, L3 and NPI projects, be responsible for solution design and act as subject matter expert for installation projects in alignment with customer requirements, contributing to the overall installation business result and customer satisfaction.
The position is permanent , and you can be based in any of our offices in East Europe.
The job will require approximately 10 20 % travelling.
What you will do
As Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for leading pre-contract activities to develop solutions supporting Value Selling as well as the execution of Solution Design activities required for installation projects for Packaging Equipment, Lines and Plants.
You will actively participate in the on-going pre-project activities to find & quote solutions for our customers effected by the European SUP-Directive.
Your main focus will be on :
Analysation and understanding of customer requirements.
Development of packaging line solutions and line configurations.
Efficient layout design, fulfilling all technical and legal requirements.
Budget and Firm Quotation creation.
Project risk assessment & Quotation Reviews.
Participation and technical contribution to customer and sales meetings.
Manage and ensure compliance with all relevant Tetra Pak standards ensuring comprehensive engineering, as necessary, in the design and sale of Tetra Pak systems.
Who you are
We believe you have :
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design, any related field or 5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in (pre-)project management, quotations, and CAD standards.
Technical experience in the capital equipment business within the food industry.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in customer & expectation management.
You are able to work under pressure, willing to go the extra mile when needed.
You are well-organized and accurate, with an excellent attention to detail.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
