Work collaboratively with the staff of CSS Learning team in the production of courses and supplemental materials and actively participate in the development and training of staff and clients.

Through collaboration with other team members, design engaging and effective instructional materials. Assist in the development of course materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles, and in alignment with the organization’s instructional design standards.

Develop and provide recommendations for interface design, sequencing of instruction, use of assessments, and design of help files, knowledge base files, course materials and activities.

  • Determine instructional effectiveness of course materials that are developed. Perform a needs analysis to scope work required for assigned projects based on product specs and other support materials Guide efforts of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to craft appropriate training sequence and identify instructional strategies Remain engaged during development process and provide guidance and support as needed;
  • review drafts and provide feedback and input Augment material with appropriate activities, interim knowledge checks and summative assessments;
  • source or create e-learning as needed Efficiently work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract information required to develop training Create training assets from raw information Development of learning objectives to achieve business needs Development of assessments to measure knowledge gained against learning objectives Mine deep content to extract relevant information to meet learning objectives Creating performance-

    based instruction. Extensive knowledge of information architecture principles and methods. Understanding of various operating systems, file structures, file formats, and protocols.

    High level of expertise with software that facilitates the design of instruction (storyboards, flow charts, assessments, etc.

    Basic knowledge of HTML. Proficient with web-based course management and development tools (Breeze, Captivate, Camtasia, Storyline).

    Basic knowledge of streaming audio and video, compression methods, file types, and formats. Ability to build online courseware in Articulate Storyline.

    Familiarity with graphic design elements appropriate for online instruction. Ability to work hours that correspond with client (possible GMT / UTC -
