Why do we have this role in the organization and why do we need to hire someone in this role :
As Quote profitability Administrator you will coordinate, analyze and manage price discount requests, that are in the quotation phase, in order to support Sales efforts on EMEA level and Interface with EMEA Sales representatives, as well as with other functional units within Vertiv EMEA ensuring the smooth and timely creation and submission of commercial quotes.
What will you be expected to do to reach success & optimal performance?
Extract the production costs and application to both manual price discount requests, as well as to the automatic ones;
Analyze, prepare and process the price discount requests (SPR's) received from EMEA Sales representatives;
Prepare necessary calculations and documentation, handle correspondence with Management in order to receive necessary discount approvals from designated approvers;
Maintain the network of contacts and interfaces within the organization (Application Engineering, Pricing Support), as well as with Sales (Sales Managers, Country Leader, Partner Managers) and LOBs (Product management, LOB approvers, Strategic Pricing) in order to support consistent and efficient pricing approval process;
Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date SPR Log-file and archive documentation of processed price approval requests;
