Our Great Opportunity
This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management, and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than the one offered by the 1st Level Operations.
This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels!
Ensure 2nd Level Assurance Support Activities and Incident Management;
Fixing experience with routers, switches, firewalls;
Fixing and troubleshooting experience of switching and routing protocols.
To be successful in the role you must have
Technical competencies :
Bachelor / Master of Science in Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Automatics and Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
Understanding of service provider networks, internet network architecture, and routing products;
BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS protocol (Layer 2 / 3 VPN, TE);
Juniper knowledge : SRX / MX / EX;
Huawei knowledge : NEs, ATNs
Nokia knowledge : 7705, 7750
Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCNP SP) / Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIP-SP);
Solid troubleshooting / debugging skills;
Scripting skills are a plus.
Personal Skills :
Solid communication skills in English;
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, internal partners and provide technical solutions.
Ability to work under stress related to scale of business impact;
Ability to provide rapid root-cause analysis for various customer IP-related issues.
