Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate System Manager for our Workspace area with interest in design, architecture, configuration, rapid deployment, scalability and automation.

You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. You will be a key-member of the Workspace squad within the IT Delivery department, where your skills and contributions to manage our Workspace area ( Google, Office365, Teamviewer, Happeo, Mailjet Email Delivery Service, Liveleader Manual Chat ) will be very visible.

You must love to help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally.

Your skills :

Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably Computer Engineering area, with an overall minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace

Proven experience with Google Workspace ( G Suite ) administration and other services from Google

General knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, SMTP, Teamviewer, Happeo administration could be an advantage

Powershell / Powershell and automation

In-depth knowledge of mail flow and data migration

Solid understanding of working with API endpoints

  • Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information;
  • effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations

    Be proactive and communicative

    Focused on sharing knowledge and increasing the skills of the whole squad

    Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations

    Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people

    Fluency in Business English is required

    Customer oriented behaviour

    Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information.

    What will you do ?

    Work in a Squad accountable for the Workspace area, acting as the technical lead for System Engineers

    Manage Google services as well as other services used for collaboration purposes throughout Visma

    Actively contribute to further developing the Workspace area in cooperation with the Service Owner and our stakeholders, highlighting areas requiring attention

    Evaluate new tools and technology - Support in Proposals preparation for new and existing services

    A key contributor to the team strategy, ensuring that service implementation is in line with the business requirements and the technology design principles

    Ensure solution lifecycle and operational standards are adhered to; this includes actively looking to continuously improve working practices as well as monitoring the health / effectiveness of the solution

    Perform administration, installation, maintenance and upgrades for the services in the Workspace area

    Collaborate with Solution and System Managers on Workspace related requirements.

    When required, act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of an assigned activity; all the while adhering to Visma's project administration standards

    When required, be able to present confidently in front of Customers and Business Partners

    Ensure Customer Satisfaction in the Services Delivered and Continuous improvement of services

    Create and maintain the Solution Design documents for the Workspace services

    Documentation on proper usage of tools to quickly identify issues and triage solutions.
