Technical Solution Consultant – SCC Content & Experience
Technical Solution Consultant role offers a great opportunity for a technically solid expert to provide their development, architecture and presentation skills, to be an important part of Oracle’s fast growth in becoming the leader of the Cloud on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
You will be in constant communication with field sales representatives within EMEA and JAPAC region, who need your technical expertise, product knowledge, development skills and presentation skills in order to demonstrate to the customers how they will achieve success and innovation using Oracle Cloud products and technologies.
Role / Responsibilities:
You will be working as a technical solution consultant and will be:
·Using your technical expertise and product knowledge to respond to tenders from customers, technical questions around Oracle Cloud products and solutions
·Advising the customers, field sales representatives on solutions, products, architecture
·Collaborating with Product Management by bringing new ideas, potential use cases to further improve Oracle Cloud Portfolio
The projects you develop, the technical information you do provide will have a major impact on the presales and sales activities of Oracle, helping positioning the cloud products to the clients and improving their businesses. While still being in the technical domain, you will also have exposure on the sales cycles as well, improving further your career.
Oracle Cloud Platform Technology subdomains include, Apps and Mobile development, Content & Experience and Integration spaces. Being in C&E and Integration, you will be able to participate in many different and interesting projects and be able to specialize in one of the domains as well. You will have the chance to work with the rich Platform as a Service (PaaS) portfolio of Oracle Cloud technologies such as Oracle Content and Experience Cloud Service, IoT Cloud Service, Blockchain Cloud Service and so on.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
