We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for the Advertising team, a cross-functional team covering product management, product design, product research, backend, frontend, Android and iOS development, focussed on building services that deliver advertising to the user facing applications within the group.
The Advertising Team is part of the OLX Europe Ecosystem which is one of OLX Europe’s key strategic initiatives. In this role, you, the Senior Product Manager, are going to be responsible for one of OLX's key priorities.
You will guide the team where you are responsible for building new features, from the conceptualisation phase and testing of MVPs to generating insights, iterating and scaling the features.
You will craft the vision but also run the roadmap and backlog by working closely with our development team, other product teams and the business owners in Europe.
What you will be doing : Together with our Advertising Business Unit you will lead our Advertising Product strategy. You will partner with Ad Sales and Operations to build our Ad product strategy, develop a roadmap and deliver high performing products for our advertisers and in turn grow our Ads business.
Craft the vision and strategy for your products, set the north star metrics and own the roadmap by working closely with other product teams and business stakeholders in Europe and Globally.
Stay close to industry trends and opportunities to advance the vision.Work with the product development team to deliver features that impact the way our users interact with the platform.
Conduct experiments and run A / B tests to understand which initiatives will have the most impact on success metrics you defined.
Build and prioritize hypotheses, initiate user research and work with product analysts, data scientists, tech leads and UX researchers to understand user problems and verify ideas.
Build and continuously refine the delivery and opportunity validation backlog and define metrics which measure our success.
Collaborate with other teams to enable them to deliver marketplace-enhancing features and coordinate the delivery of the roadmap.
Who we’re looking for : Extensive experience in product management - experience in the Ad Tech space will beneficialIdeally within an international set-up and at a high-traffic consumer Internet or e-commerce company, curiosity initiative to dig into the why, what & how.
Experience in hypothesis and data based product development, e.g. user and market research, validating ideas, experimentation, A / B testing, usability testing, data analysis.
Experience in the identity space. Capability to understand technical concepts and discuss technical topics with development teams.
You are not looking at product development as a feature factory and you can balance speed vs. quality.Experience working with agile product development teams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
