Microchip is seeking an experience Analog / mixed-signal applications engineer to join our R&D team. The primary role will be development and support of technical content for current and next generation ADCs, DACs, Digital Potentiometers, and Energy Measurement.

The applications engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and deploying highly technical collateral (demo boards, reference designs, code examples, training material, etc.
which maximizes client self-sufficiency. As a factory expert in the assigned product lines, the applications engineer will provide direct technical support as needed to internal first-line technical support teams and select external customers.
The successful candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, be able to work in fast paced challenging environments, and work with cross-functional teams across different disciplines, business units, and sites.
