We’re looking for a paid-social expert to take the lead with B2C paid social advertising at YouGov.
The Paid Social Media Specialist will be responsible for running targeting advertising to youth audiences, to drive participation in YouGov research.
They will own paid social advertising and be responsible for planning, activating, and optimising campaigns on social media platforms, to meet fieldwork targets.
They will also help shape the paid social strategy for YouGov Member acquisition across 40+ markets worldwide.
The Paid Social Media Specialist will be essential to the development and maintenance on of YouGov’s newest Products, Teen Profiles.
What will I be doing?
Owning paid social advertising to drive respondent acquisition of youth audiences (13-17 year olds)
Managing paid-activity on Facebook (& Instagram), as well as driving innovation through testing new platforms (Snapchat, Tiktok, Quora, Reddit etc.)
Planning, activating and optimizing paid social campaigns to meet target volumes, on-budget.
Tracking, measuring, analysing and reporting on campaign performance, sharing results with internal clients.
Working with content teams to create and optimise advertising to drive best conversion rates and minimise costs.
Project managing all activity and processes required to meet targets, and managing day-to-day relationships with research teams, partners and colleagues.
Helping to build the paid-social strategy for YouGov Member acquisition, globally.

What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
Proven experience in a paid social media role, either in-house or agency.
At least 3 years’ experience of managing paid social media advertising on Facebook.
Experience of creating and testing multiple ad sets and targeting different audiences.
Prior management of acquisition campaigns on other digital marketing platforms, a plus.
Experience of working with medium to large performance marketing budgets, ideally across multiple markets.
Understanding of technical aspects of online advertising including conversion optimization.
Experience in market research and panel recruitment, a plus.
Technical skills and qualifications
An expert in Paid Social with deep understanding of Facebook Ads Manager and other platforms
A working Facebook account with no prior history of advertising account suspension / blocks
Highly numerical, analytical and comfortable with raw data in Excel
Ad creation or editing skills (Photoshop), a plus
Experience in coding (SQL, HTML) a plus
Passionate about the latest digital marketing trends; an expert understanding of the paid-media landscape, emerging platforms and technologies
A creative mind and thinker, who knows how to communicate to difference audiences
