Support the sales function in the organization bydeveloping accurate, timely and professional estimates for Honeywell CyberSecurity Solutions.
Analyze the sales estimates to the customer requirementsand provide guidance on factors to be used for competitive estimating.
You willprovide support on proposals and estimations which include scope, material, andlabor effort by skilled discipline.
You will develop cost effective estimates andidentify explicit proposal inclusions to be prepared within required timelines.
Manage & Lead proposal & estimating effort,by Consulting Professionals of various disciplines within the global Honeywellorganization and engaging with the global Proposal and Estimation (P&E)teams, ultimately resulting in the submission to customer of a (when requiredhighly complex) smart and winning proposal.
Completing all Honeywell internal requirementsrelated to the above such as estimating of required material and labor efforts,prepare full commercial offerings in cooperation with Lines Of Business, globalmarketing organizations and sales representatives, preparing / writing completeproposal documents ready to be submitted to customer, resolving technicalsolutions concepts, engagement / involvement with the operational organizationsof the Lines Of
Business to determine and document project deliverymodels to
be included as part of the Honeywell proposals,management of formal functional and hierarchical approval traces, responding tolegal implications and management of required sourcing activities. Key deliverables :
Strategically support the organization by developing timely professional estimates
Drive right and fast cost effective estimates
Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales organization
Adhere to the Business Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain Siebel Discipline and keep Activity status up to date.
Enter and submit timesheet in SAP or Team's locally approved format.
Study RFQ and other documents / drawings supplied by customer.
Understand the scope of work to be delivered in the proposal.
Contribute to the preparation of the Proposal Plan,which should include all resources, responsibilities, deliverables and dates, for all team members.
Generate Technical and Commercial Queries.
For Honeywell hardware & Software supply, use the relevant configuration tool to estimate cost and generate Bill of Material(BoM).
Identify 3rd party Packages / Equipment / Buyout items and engage Procurement to obtain sub-vendor Technical and Commercial offers.
Review of Technical Queries received from Third Party
Vendors and Honeywell Business Units.
Compile Technical and Commercial proposal in required format.
Study of Technical and Commercial queries / clarifications received from customer and draft responses
Update / Revise the Technical and Commercial offer.
Prepare the Cost Estimates using the relevant tools as laid out in the Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist in compiling the cost estimate for all the items.
Adhere to the approval process and prepare information required for approvals as per the Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify Proposal Inclusions Create Alternate Solutions
Build relationships betweeninternal customers
YOU MUST HAVE
3 - 5 years process automation and / or Cyber solutions sales experience .
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in computer / IT engineering.
Some experience in the Cyber security field is preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office tools.
Six Sigma experience, Green Belt certification a strong plus
Industrial application or Cyber domain experience.
Excellent team and communication skills
An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
Self motivated and directed
Good communication with coaching and support from the supervisor
English (professional), Any other language next to mother language is appreciated
Multilingual skills and cross-cultural experience preferred
