The NationalInstruments Applications Engineer (AE) role is designed for people with strong engineeringbackground who are interested in developing their careers in the area ofengineering, technical field or sales and consulting.

Core Duties andResponsibilities :
Within the AE role you will be responsible for your own development.This will be achieved through communicating and asking for help when neededproactively, and by building a professional network with colleagues to driveimprovement, growth and business needs.
You will be asked to gain a deepunderstanding of business processes, the market and the NI culture as well asfuture career options.
In the AEDepartment you will :
Support NI customers in finding a solution for requests about core products. Utilize testing, debugging and implementations in software and establish successful communication with customers to resolve these requests
Deliver customer education for core products with clear explanations of technical content and answering questions. Ensure adaptability of the content and explanations to match the skill level of the customers
Work on high-end, demanding projects
Have other ad hoc duties and responsibilities dependingon sub-regional requirements or as business needs change.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor or equivalent in engineering or science relatedfield, such as electronic engineering, physics or mechatronics or similar
Technical aptitude and a thorough understanding of electronics andhigh-level programming languages
Experience in instrumentation & control, industrial automation ispreferred
Must be able to handle multiple tasks
Strong customer focus and problem solving to analyze the problem andthink creatively to provide a solution
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are key
A proactive / can do attitude is vital
Romanian & English language knowledge
Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage
