Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Member Engagement Executive to help shape and grow YouGov member marketing. You will be working closely with the Member Engagement Manager to deliver targeted email and survey campaigns to help activate, engage, and retain millions of YouGov members worldwide.

You will become an expert on our members, delivering marketing plans to help maintain and grow the size of our research panel.

What will I be delivering?

  • Deliver effective lifecycle marketing communication plans to increase member engagement across multiple countries, with a focus on the scarcest audience segments
  • Launch email and survey campaigns to activate, engage and retain members : Design, build, test, launch, analysis, and optimisation
  • Curating YouGov insight and collaborating with content teams to deliver eye-catching emails, surveys and other proactive engagement tools that lead to higher level of participation from our members, and are consistent with messaging across all YouGov member touchpoints
  • Projects in collaboration with the wider Marketing, Support, Product, Tech and Ops teams.
  • Work closely with the Member Engagement Manager to understand the success of each campaign, in order to suggest improvements and new initiatives.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience in running successful targeted email campaigns
  • Strong project management skills : ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, some design experience is desirable
  • Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, teams, and functions
  • Comfortable with data manipulation and interpretation. You will need to be confident in dealing with data and get excited by numbers, not overwhelmed
  • Basic SQL understanding (proficiency desired) you will want to be able to investigate and understand numbers
  • Basic scripting knowledge is preferable but not mandatory
  • Adept at using multiple platforms and tools

  • Collaborative, and a confident communicator, able to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across a large business.
