Company Description :

For one of our clients, a multinational professional firm that provides assurance (including financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services, we are looking for a Accounting Junior Consultant who will work home-

based (Timisoara, Cluj, Iasi, Bucuresti or other areas). Our client is known to engage with like-minded organizations and individuals in order to deliver quality and excellence in everything they do.

Job Description :

  • Recording the entries in the local accounting system in line with the applicable reporting requirements;
  • Participating in month-end and year-end closing operations in accordance with the statutory reporting requirements and regional / global policies and also participates in managing accruals and prepayments;
  • Managing reconciliations between the local statutory accounting system and the reporting system;
  • Collaborating with the client representatives for the customization of the statutory ERP;
  • Drafting the annual statutory financial statements and the half-year accounting reports;
  • Participating in preparing and reviewing the monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns for VAT and corporate tax as applicable;

    • Participating with the Senior Consultants in identifying the possible accounting and tax compliance issues and communicate these to the manager and / or partner.

    Requirements :

  • University degree in Economics;
  • At least 2 years experience as accountant;
  • Advanced Excel skills;

    • English language advanced level.
