Responsabilities :

  • Performing system and network health monitoring to ensure the continuous availability of all services
  • Managing and performing routine system maintenance on a schedule basis
  • Analyzing alarms and trouble indicators to identify problem areas, troubleshooting and escalating to appropriate parties
  • Recording trouble tickets and assigning them based on urgency and issue type
  • Performing issue / incident management
  • Ensuring standard operating procedures are maintained and executed
  • Maintaining communication with all carrier partners and account management teams
  • Providing 3rd level support for technical problems escalated from 2nd level Customer Support
  • Troubleshooting call quality, origination, termination issues
  • Tracking bugs and gathering specific technical information required by other internal teams
  • Requirements :

  • Proven NOC experience in a multi-site enterprise environment;
  • Strong background and understanding of networking and voice protocols (TCP / IP, SIP, RTP, DNS, SNMP);
  • Experience with a VoIP platform and familiarity with SIP protocol
  • Mixed networking and sysadmin experience with various infrastructure and applications monitoring and alerting tools exposure
  • Proven experience within a Linux based environment;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in trouble shooting, analyzing and problem solving
  • Experience working in a 24x7x365 environment
  • Relevant experience with process documenting
  • Build and improve processes and procedures, develop standards
  • Focused on team performance and results
  • People and long term results oriented, with efficiency and quality of work in mind
  • Focused on team performance and long term solutions
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Romanian communications skill
  • Nice to have :

  • Scripting (bash, perl, python)
  • Experience working with databases (MySQL / MS-SQL)
  • Windows administration skills
  • Experience with a SOX compliant environment;
  • Working knowledge of Cisco and / or Foundry network equipment;
  • Working schedule :
