R&D Manager
We are looking for a driven manager for the R&D team in Cluj, Romania. You will have the overall responsibility for the team’s deliveries of high-quality software that is used by hospitals globally, including Medical Device classified products.
Reporting to the Head of Unite R&D, this is a key position where you will have ownership of a portfolio of products and oversee all development activities carried out by the team.
In addition, you will be the overall Site Manager for Ascom’s office in Cluj.

We are looking for an R&D manager with 5-10 years’ experience. You enjoy working in an international environment. You enjoy helping a team performance and you know how to coach people to overcome challenges and solve problems.
You are used to working with development teams, and you have a can-do attitude that allows you to push people to reach their objectives when necessary.
To fit into our team it is important that you are an open and positive person. We believe you have strong technical skills as well as good teamwork abilities and that you are full of initiative.
Since our products are used in healthcare and to help nurses save lives, it is important that you are meticulous and quality conscious.
