The HR Systems Analyst position is a to HR Business Partners and business leaders on HR system processes, predominantly in the areas of : expenses, time off and time tracking matters.

This role will assist in the maintenance and continued development of HR system solutions within Workday.

This position can be based anywhere in the following countries : Romania, Poland, Czech, Spain, Portugal. It can be home-based or executed (partially) from one of our offices.

HRIS SPECIALIST

Avantor is currently seeking a Workday HRIS Specialist to join our dynamic global HRIS Team. We are looking for a positive, well-organized, self-motivated professional to support our, Solutions Workstream Leads, HR Organization and key stakeholders.

In this position, you will deliver a high-level of customer service. You will act as a point of contact for as overall system performance and maintenance, including ensuring information security, testing updates, and improving process efficiency.

By doing this, you will have a strong contribution to building a professional and reliable HRIS tool for the company.

Your responsibilities :

  • Responsible for providing strategic direction, configuration and management of projects related to three main areas in Workday.
  • Expenses, Absence and Time Tracking.

  • Conceives and implements process and system enhancements to improve system efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Serves as project manager and / or functional lead for these initiatives.
  • Responsible for communicating agreed solutions and providing regular updates.
  • Ensure digital processes are streamlined, and globally consistent where possible.
  • Responsible for the System development life cycle within these areas of Workday and ensuring that each stage has been documented and approved as required.
  • Ensure HR related compliance and legislation is considered and applied across our technology.
  • Maintain a future focused outlook - planning, identifying, staying abreast of all new developments and functionality.
  • Leverage the current capability of Workday and other HR systems to create further efficiencies.
  • Be the expert in the area and facilitate knowledge sharing, understanding and context between the technology and HR teams.
  • Ensures system integrity and accuracy by working diligently with HR business partners on issues related to system configuration, maintenance, and vendor management.
  • Continuously improve HR people practices and processes.
  • Provide context and rationale for advancement of HR processes to share understanding with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure User guides are fit for purpose, accurate and up to date.
  • Ensures Associates personal data is secure at all times.
  • Responds to tickets in ServiceNow in a timely fashion.
  • Your background

  • Knowledge of the Human Resources function, and experience in HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Mature approach with a focus on customer service, rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Effectively apply communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proficiency with desktop software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated skill in process improvement and project implementation.
  • Ability to work under stress / pressure to meet deadlines and company objectives.
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, adherence to company policies, programs and work rules.
  • Problem solver; takes the initiative to reproduce the problem before navigating a solution by understanding not just what went wrong, but what action the customer is after.
  • Methodical; deliberate, detail-oriented with the ability to get to the heart of the problem. Regularly follows up with customer until their problem is resolved.
