About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Immunology Head, as a Key Account Manager South Romania Immunology for Sanofi Genzyme , you will permanently ensure the achievement and exceeding of sales targets in the allocated area for the products in the portfolio, by implementing agreed strategies.

You will keep and successfully develop relationships with the important clients of the Genzyme division, according to the business plan and the strategy applied.

You will ensure the loyalty of important clients and opinion leaders in the field for Genzyme products.

Sanofi Genzyme has an important presence in oncology, hematology and medulla transplant through its Oncology division. The division has a strong history of well-known products and currently has products to treat prostate and colorectal pathology.

Also, it has products for leukemia, for medulla transplant and a pipeline in immuno-oncology.

Key responsibilities

  • To organize and run business meetings with decision factors and opinion leaders for the facilitation of bidirectional communication;
  • To provide analyses of market quotas for the commercial policies of the competitors and to propose proper strategies;
  • To develop together with the Sales Management, Logistic Support, and Administrative and Financial Departments, the best way to cooperate with the distributors;
  • To track the collaboration of the distributors with the key clients;
  • To assign the availability and the necessary resources to the assigned territories in order to plan and control local investments for ensuring the support for the sales for the purpose of making costs more efficient;
  • To provide functional support to the other departments in the company and to communicate efficiently with the Financial, Logistic Support, Marketing, and Medical Departments;
  • To provide continuous feedback to the management about sales performances and the business environment, the market status and the competitors' activities, by observing the deadlines;
  • To keep the records of the database of doctors and pharmacists; to report activity using CRM tools;
  • To participate to meetings / congresses / symposium / seminars / round tables / courses in Romania and abroad, in accordance with the strategy agreed for the designated products and with the sales plan;
  • To organize Sanofi Genzyme meetings, symposium, round tables, to be carried out in the assigned area;
  • To hold presentations to the physicians involved on the topic of one of the designated products at certain events : round tables or symposia, organized by Genzyme in the assigned area, Bucharest and 8 other counties in South Romania;
  • About You

    To excel in this role, you will need to have :

  • Solid knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques, pharma industry and pharma products;
  • Strong skills and experience in managing relationships with different stakeholders : healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders etc.;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Very good results in the actual position, both quantitative and qualitative;
  • Strategic and analytic thinking, initiative, proactive, decision making capabilities;
  • Result orientation, punctual, ability to work under pressure, determined;
  • Essential requirements :

  • Stable location in Bucharest
  • University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Natural Sciences;
  • Minimum of 5 years seniority in pharma industry (sales);
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work by respecting deadlines;
  • Proactive and organized personality with developed skills on establishing interpersonal relationships with the clients;
  • Strong team spirit;
  • Excellent presentation skills, influencing / negotiation skills, KOL management skills;
  • Intercultural adaptability and sensitivity;
  • Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and knowledge in using CRM Tools for reporting activity;
  • Excellent knowledge of English;
  • Romanian language native;
  • Availability to travel 50% of time;
  • Driver's license for B category;
  • Nice to have requirements :

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in dermatology, in pulmonology would be an advantage (sales);
