Digital Wealth Management was established in late 2016 with the mandate to develop and implement a holistic and global digital strategy for DB’s WM franchise, aiming to position DB as a digital leading player amongst Wealth Managers.
Since beginning of 2019 the responsibilities of the team were further expanded to include business architecture and DB’s core banking platforms, further strengthening the team and its ability to deliver holistic value to the organization.
The team is focusing on digital strategy as well as the development and execution of significant digital projects for clients and advisors.
A dedicated pillar on innovation and disruption is responsible to establish a leading edge as well as beyond banking solutions.
Collaboration across the bank and with external partners will foster idea generation and delivery utilizing agile methodologies.
As a key success factor, the team will engage with some of our most prestigious clients to obtain direct input as well as deep client insights for developing differentiating solutions.
Successful digital adoption will be key to fund further innovation. The team will work closely with all regional and product teams and in strong partnership with Technology to deliver true value-
add to the overall WM franchise strategy and culture.
Key aspects of the team mandate include :
Definition of WM digital strategy and implications on overall WM strategy
Execution of Business Architecture including the definition of a target process model in line with WM value chain and strategic priorities
Owning the strategic functional roadmap of specific digital & core banking capabilities & developing impactful and sustainable solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders
Proximity to technology trends and strategic technology partnerships
Digital project management and delivery (including a variety of projects with significant scale)
Establishment of innovation and disruption engine and culture
Ensuring successful digital adoption within our target client segments

We are looking for a Digital Innovation Specialist joining the digital team at the next possible date with a clear mandate of supporting the innovation team in identifying, analysing and deep-
diving innovation trends in the WM industry. Aim is to help DB WM leap ahead of the competition using enhanced technology combined with rich data sets, AI, visualisation, redesigned processes and much more.
Key responsibilities of this role include :
Help conceptualise and evaluate new innovation trend that might benefits the DB WM suite of products, projects and teams.
Act as a catalyst in the management and evaluation of the innovation pipeline / portfolio, assisting strategic decision-
making and go-to-Market process.
Develop strategies and support digital satellites projects in the assessment of innovation trends and themes
Identify key market (or emerging technology) trends and impacted WM domains and / or capabilities,
Endorse innovation themes based on strategic goals & business priorities
With DB Labs, explore solution scope with external fintechs / partners.
Connect & review solution options with key program owners, GT & business stakeholders
Support in the coordination of PoCs and / or testing activities
Facilitate innovation efforts that solve existing and future problems as provided by leadership
Convey technology and business value propositions via exceptional presentation skills
Develop and support the processes for effectively analyzing innovative solutions
Educated to degree level
Project management experience, with a Self Starter attitude, preferably within global organizations or consulting firms
Previous experience in fintechs and / or innovation labs and management consulting would be considered as a plus
Communication skills . We anticipate developing strong relationships stakeholders on a global level. In particular we anticipate this person developing their strong global relationships at the junior ranks of the organisation.
Attention to detail . Recognising gaps between end state and current systems and processes
Creativity . A keen interest in the world outside and bringing it into DB WM.
Should have an intrinsic passion for technology and not a generic PM. He / She is keen to maintain a high level knowledge in the new tech trends
Experience in rapid innovation at scale
Challenging the status quo . A desire to question what we do and how we could do this better.
Presentation and storytelling skills . An ability to summarise clearly and concisely with senior DB personnel. Extremely good knowledge of the Office product suites, especially Power Point.
Knowledge of any additional presentation tool (InDesign, Adobe etc) highly desirable
Good sense for feasibility and complexity of potential solutions / target processes
Organizational savviness; ability to understand viewpoint of various stakeholders
Experience in working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel to different locations if required
Ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations independently and with limited guidance
Good sense for prioritization and 'getting things done' mentality
Strong team player with highest personal drive and a high degree of intrinsic motivation
Good sense for quality of deliverables and strive to continuously improve
