Job Description
The Business Intelligence Developer works within a multidisciplinary agile team to deliver solutions that support the business processes and management decisions of the organization.
Main responsibilities :
Propose and develop effective business intelligence solutions aligned with the needs of the business;
Design, analyze and develop scalable BI solutions while ensuring alignment with company norms and standards;
Develop and perform unit tests according to the best practice;
Support operation colleagues, resolve problems and emergencies.
Qualifications
University degree in computer science;
Advanced level in relational databases and SQL language;
Knowledge of data modeling and SQL programming;
Experience in ETL development;
Knowledge of data warehouses and data integrations;
Experience with the following tools and technologies will be an asset : IBM Cognos, Google Big Query, SSIS, Oracle database, Tableau, C #, Python, service-oriented architecture, micro-service SOAP, and REST;
Effective management of stress and priorities;
Understand the importance of customer satisfaction;
High degree of autonomy and responsibility;
Methodical and structured in their work;
Approach critical issues in an analytical manner;
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative;
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude;
Ability to get things done working alone or as part of a team as needed;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand what customers need;
Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment;
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Note : we consider spoken and written French as a plus.
