DescriptionThe Talent Lead focusses upon the delivery of Talent initiatives which seek to define, identify, develop and deploy our people.

Achieved through building organisation people capability by supporting succession and development plans, delivering the talent pipeline and driving a coaching and feedback culture.

  • Typically reports to the Senior Talent Manager.Job Responsibilities* Manages and contributes to the Talent policies, processes and practices to ensure alignment to future business needs and the overall corporate strategy;
  • Manages the delivery of operational activities on the talent agenda to define, identify, develop and deploy talent to deliver the people requirements for the business;
  • Responsible for implementing and delivering action plans and targets in relation to developing capabilities across employee population / s;
  • Demonstrates developed communication and influencing in the provision of feedback, coaching and consultation to managers;
  • Negotiates internally and influences stakeholders and line managers across the business to drive awareness of talent tools and frameworks (for example the Vodafone People Framework) ;
  • May have involvement with managing third party providers;* Proactively builds knowledge, capability and skills internally to identify and deliver on future organisational talent needs;
  • Drives insight from Talent data to support business decisions around people capability and future demands;* May mentor / coach junior members of the team and coordinate project work ;
