  • The primary role of a tea lady is to supply various drinks (but usually tea or coffee) and light snacks (cakes, buns, crisps and chocolate bars) during the allocated break times and official meetings of management staff
  • Tea ladies should be proficient in making hot drinks and will be expected to make fresh sandwiches too.
  • Tea ladies are responsible for ensuring they have adequate stock of the food and drinks
  • They are also expected to be proficient in keeping any food trolleys or food preparation surfaces clean at all times as per the client s guidelines
  • Tea ladies will be responsible for keeping adequate stocks of cleaning materials and ensuring they are stored safely apart from food and drinks.
  • Tea ladies are expected to be well presented and demonstrate excellent hygiene standards at all times. They should also communicate with staff in a friendly manner.
  • Tea ladies are expected to wash up cuts, plates and cutlery in conjunction with their serving duties. Experienced in specialty
  • Required to take proactive actions and make suggestions about improving general running of activity
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Must be self motivated and a good team player, used to frequently working without, or under little, supervision and confidentially.
  • Builds good relationships and has the ability to interact with internal and external contacts at a senior level.
  • Must be organized and methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload and duties
  • Good level of initiative required, in conjunction with the ability to prioritise and work calmly under pressure
  • Flexibility for working in shifts of as associated with a Global Head Office.
  • Extensive contact internally with members of Executive, other senior management and staff at all levels.
