Automotive Cyber Security Software developers make solutions to protect connected vehicles from being hacked. Garrett develops a multitude of security solutions which runs in the vehicle and also in the cloud.
These solutions monitor the behavior of components on the vehicle and report the anomalies to the cloud based monitoring systems.
These solutions require new ideas, creativity and passion to outsmart the hackers to protect the future vehicles. We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated students to test, develop, innovate and learn with us.
Job Responsibilities :
Help implement software algorithms which models behavior of vehicles and its components. These algorithms are determined to detect abnormal behviors which usually becomes a vital information for security analysis
Help develop test cases for testing embedded software and build reports with test results. These task cases determine simulated scenarios of real world scenarios of how vehicle and its internal components will behave.
Help test tools used within the engineering team for product development. These tools are sometimes used to build final solutions for the customer or test final solutions which are intended to go through rigorous level of vehicle test
