BucureștiThe QA Automation Engineer develops, modifies and executes automated tests. As a delivery-focused QA Automation Engineer, you will improve, streamline, integrate, and communicate the automated test activities across our product lines.
This includes functional and regression testing of individual products and integration testing of our integrated products.
You will maintain high quality standards through systematic metrics-driven test planning and test execution.AccountabilitiesBalance automation, manual testing, and exploratory testing against risk to select the right tests to automateDesign and develop automated test cases that can be integrated into our CI environmentProvide status and progress reports by project on automated effortsParticipate in requirements gathering meetings and provide estimates of software test automation tasksAdminister test automation and management toolsCreate automation test plansPrior work experience as manual tester highly preferred.
Identify, communicate and track issues to closure working in close collaboration with cross-functional development team including analysts and developersCreate and present test status and outcome reports to other staff including managementPromote and document automation testing processes, including automation of regression test setProvide development and maintenance of automated test plans and test cases covering functional product, integration and regression testingDevelop repository of the automation scripts for regression testingReport test results of automation scripts completion, failure, and blocked rateEnsure any unresolved problems or issues with testing efforts are documented and escalatedWork with manual test team to develop automation tests and provide input in the creation of the automated test plan for each projectEffectively communicates in meetings with project team members and stakeholdersPosition Requirements and Preferred SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or field and / or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experienceA minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance working in automated testing environmentsHands-
on experience with design, development, and implementation of testing procedures; creation of test plans, test cases, and automated test processes to support overall quality objectivesExperience with implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools.
Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation skillsExposure to virtualization especially VMWareExperience with web-
based JAVA applications with large scale relational databases using SQL ServerMust be able to adjust schedules to accommodate the changing priorities of a high-
