We have an outstanding opportunity as an Senior Financial Analyst role opened in our Performance Materials & Technologies department from Bucharest hub.
This position will support the Finance activities for Project and Automation Solution (PAS), a dynamic and growing Line of Business of Honeywell Process Solutions in the Southern Europe and Africa Regions.
The Person will be responsible for a P&L of about 100M$ Turnover.
The role will partner and support the SENA and SSA GMs in driving financial performances, managing and leading key business processes including the annual operating plan (AOP), monthly operating review (MOR) and financial forecasts.
Lead, coordinate and drive PAS financial performances for the Region to ensure financial goals (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash commitments) are met while complying with corporate policies and procedures.
Provide support in Timely completion of reporting including : Monthly Highlights, Variance
Analysis assessment, working closely with the project operation and PCO organization; This includes P&L, Working Capital, Free Cash Flow analysis and Past Dues.
Monitoring of performance for key metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
Perform financial closing activities (Journal entries, P&L analysis and correction, orders stats, B / S verification) in sync with latest Controllership and COTA organization
Productivity tracking (Billability, Absorption, Time sheets and related burden rate calculation and monitoring during the year on under / over recovery positions)
Support Controller's department on internal and external audit requests
Assess, recommend and document needed accruals on projects as per POC Percentage Of
Completion accounting methods with all the supporting evidence and documents;
Participation in - Project reviews, revaluations and forecasts help operation team understanding the situation in projects from a financial perspective.
Drives the Country operation managers to deliver on financial commitments and results
Projects overrun avoidance (CO monitoring / waivers)
Provide support to drive and track business productivity initiatives across multiple functions
Provide support in cash collection and past due reduction by better driving people behaviors, billing correctness, contract payment terms and milestones
Drives awareness of accounts receivable trends, support in estimation of past due levels and action to reduce it. Monitors unbilled aging and timely billing.
Time and material process improvement and forecasting accuracy
Minimum 5 years related industry experience
University degree in Finance
Senior professional with strong experience on FP&A, finance and Accounting, able to work in an international and multicultural environment
Excellent in MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Access and Power point) / Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion (HFM and Essbase);
Strong English required
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in supporting the business;
Ability to identify & resolve business problems;
Team player with ability to work in a cross functional environment;
Highly interested in process improvements & bringing added value to the business
Ability to adapt & adjust to a changing environment
Ability to analyze data as well as present a clear picture (summary)
Any other additional language would be an asset
