As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.

Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in the commercial sector accounts in Romania. The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.

He / she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Key job responsibilities

  • Promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account / territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Facilitate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust projects pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption.
  • Contribute to positive customer experience.
  • Expect moderate travel.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in Romanian and English.
  • Experience as a quota carrying technology field sales individual, or business development professional
  • Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Enterprise Customers
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Leadership / Country Management experience
  • Experience selling cloud solutions
  • Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV)
  • Strong understanding of AWS and / or Cloud technology (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
  • A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science or MBA is a plus
