Your team will execute by :

  • Supportingcloud sales in LAND ing with Autonomous,with pre-packaged ADW Use Cases and customer Success Stories
  • Showcasefirst USE of Autonomous, create WOWeffect for Autonomous & seed ideas / commitment to Expand
  • Supportingcloud sales in Positioning and Selling EXPAND of Autonomous, involving and handing over to the larger, local OC practice toimplement larger scale Autonomous Solutions
  • The new AutonomousPractice is key to Oracle's Volume business growth. Supported by a high qualitysales team and deep technical experts, the practice is ready to engage with ourcustomers all household names you will have heard of!

    Working as a leaderof a local Autonomous Practice you will lead and develop a team of Oracle Consultants,to grow a volume business for Oracle.

    You bill be managing IT delivery in a volumebusiness, cloud, reporting, autonomous, machine, learning, analytics, you willbe focused on customer success and results-

    oriented. You will have the gravitasto engage with senior leaders and discus business challenges and your solutionsusing Oracle’s Analytics and Autonomous technologies.

    Your team will have deeptechnical expertise to support you.

    Note there aremultiple roles open, based around EMEA, and responsible for the direct managementof consulting teams, each working in a number of countries.

    What does an Autonomous delivery look like?

    With soldopportunities provided by our cloud sales org, your team will engage with thecustomer to un pack’ the business challenge (for example Analytics) identifiedduring the sales cycle.

    Your team may have already been engaged and built a relationshipwith the customer during the sales cycle : the LAND . You will manage resources and ensure they deliver a shortsharp WOW’ experience for our customers in less than 10 days : the USE .

    During this delivery your teams willhave built a strong enough relationships that the customer should want torepeat the cycle with the EXPAND andgenerate more business value and insight with your teams thought leadership, deliveryexpertise and the underlying Oracle autonomous solutions.

  • Bring entrepreneurial & innovative flare, with thetenacity to develop and prove ideas independently, then share these as examplesto improve both solutions delivered but more importantly the efficient of ourbusiness.
  • Experience of rapidly deploying solutions into businessenvironments (reporting & analytics) will be of particular interest
  • Leadership in guiding teams to operating successfully in alarge global environment. Working effectively across internal external, culturallydiverse, lines of business to define and deliver customer success.
  • Alignment with what gets measured get done’ to manage yourbusiness, focusing on numbers of Land , Use and Expands delivered.
  • What we are looking for :

    Either : Analytics back grounds

  • Experience in implementation of Analytic Solutions
  • Experience in designing and develop highly interactivereports & dashboards
  • Or broader back grounds

  • Technical and line of business expertise
  • Experience of delivery of technical solitons into business
  • Both must be able to demonstrate

  • Planning teamactivities including presales support aimed at achieving agreed objectives, recruitment,solutions delivered, follow on sales executed.
  • Working cross businessby communicating, liaising, and negotiating using appropriate methods to developprofitable business and relationships.
  • Business leadershipof your team to develop existing and new customers with Autonomous propositions.A businessdevelopment mind set
  • Execute local andsupport Central marketing activities for customer references, use cases. Alignyour teams and cross line of business sales efforts with other organizedmarketing activities,
  • Leading anddeveloping your team to deliver the winning presentations on completion of theLand & Use phase, and follow-on selling into Expand.
  • Attend and presentat external customer meetings and internal meetings with cross line of businessnecessary to perform duties and aid business development.

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region.

    Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice : people management, portfolio / delivery management and sales enablement.

    Has profit and loss responsibility or financial / expense management of practice.

    Accountable for operational / financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability.

    Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base.

    Typically manages multiple first line managers and / or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements.

    May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.

    10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience.

    Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus.

    Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
