Job Description - Education Sales Manager (19000G34) Preferred Qualifications

The primary focus of an Oracle Inside Sales Team Manager isto plan, manage and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives.

The primary focus of anInside Sales Representative is to sell Oracle University solutions / servicesto Oracle customers and to prospect and close new opportunities in the assignedterritory or vertical.

Manages a team of telesales representatives for a territory / region.Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for thedivision.

Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education,and / or support field managers to develop joint account plans.

Develops andexecutes strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketingand sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the areamanager or director.

Responsible for coaching, performance management, andcareer development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process andprovides hiring recommendations to senior management.

Handles escalations andparticipates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and / or resolvedisputes and ensure customer satisfaction.

Conducts regional sales forecasts,territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trendanalysis. Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements.

Frequentlyinteracts with supervisors and / or functional peer group managers. May interactwith senior management. Working knowledge of telesales job.

Throughunderstanding of Oracle*s products and services. Ability to lead sales team inall areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communicationskills.

Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution ability.

Degree inBusiness or Computer Science 5 years sales or sales management experience.
