Objectives
Keep the systems running
Propose, test, and implement system architecture changes
Responsabilities
Develop and streamline the infrastructure as code
Administer the company servers, bare metal and cloud
Collaborate with the dev team to adapt the system to future developments
Identify and patch security threats
Be part of the incident response team
Skills and Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent work experience
Good knowledge on IT System Governance models
Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup / recovery
Strong knowledge of performance concepts such as response time, throughput, system resource utilization
General knowledge of the following categories of network systems : Multiprocessing, Threading, Distributed systems, Load Balancing and High
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus / GrafanaExperience using TerraformFluent in Ansible and DockerExperience with distributed data stores such as CockroachExperience with non-relational data stores such as Mongo
