MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS : As an IT
Service Support Engineer (Associate) in Kainos, you will be responsible for providing high quality, customer focused IT services and be a main contributor to a specialist area of support.
You will be continually learning whilst being mentored and coached by talented colleagues who will help you learn, develop and grow.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Owning first / second line IT customer support requests you will be providing timely and accurate support to customers by responding to tickets that are logged via email, ticketing system, or via customer phone calls, which will include but are not limited to the Dynamics365 Sales, Salesforce Sales Cloud
Contributing to a specialism you will be a contributor in a number of application specialist support areas. You will be expected to autonomously look for ways to contribute to improving the service.
Communicating with customers you will be required to work with customers at many stages of the application support request from quickly getting to the root of their problem through to explaining actions required to resolve the problem
Troubleshooting and providing solutions you will be solving a range of applications issues, from basic to complex issues, and provide solutions where applicable.
You will be expected to show clear step-by-step troubleshooting and problem solving of an issue, before they escalate to senior team members.
Undertaking a range of routine Application administrative tasks you will be supported by colleagues to execute these tasks while you develop your skills and actively participate in knowledge sharing.
Creating documentation you will be documenting re-occurring issues and processing to build out the team’s external and internal facing knowledge base.
Working as part of a team and developing others - you’ll work as part of a team to deliver high-quality support to the business and be expected to assist in fostering an open and inclusive culture in all you do.
You will be required to mentor and guide trainee-level engineers, helping them to understand processes.
Minimum (essential) Requirements
Experience in providing application support and solving low / medium and complex problems.
Knowledge of using and performing troubleshooting tasks on Dynamics365.
Awareness of latest technology trends and the ability to actively keep up to date with technological developments.
Awareness of the commercial impact that technical services can have on an organization.

Ability to deliver tasks within a given timeframe
Ability to adapt and change to fluid processes
Microsoft Certified : Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate
Experience in working in a customer-facing environment and helping with customer-related issues.
