As part of an amazing IT organization, the Director of User Experience & Product Design will evolve and standardize the creative direction of our digital products and lead product design activities within the digital technology and engineering space.

You create the user experience for the core journeys and products by closely partnering with product owners, engineers and usability test leads to enhance the overall quality, value, and experience of our products and core journeys.

As part of an amazing IT organization, the Director of User Experience & Product Design will evolve and standardize the creative direction of our digital products and lead product design activities within the digital technology and engineering space.

You create the user experience for the core journeys and products by closely partnering with product owners, engineers, and usability test leads to enhance the overall quality, value, and experience of our products and core journeys.

Excellent track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on an enterprise scale. Constantly evaluating the evolving IT industry to be on top of the latest innovations in IT and performing fit-analysis of new technologies, sharing the same with key stakeholders.

Strong oral and written communication skills, influence / negotiation skills, analytical skills, and conflict management experience.

Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, challenge the status quo, and manage ambiguity.

Ability to work during evenings or on weekends to support special tasks or projects. Adaptability to work in a global culture that includes a 24 / 7 support model.

Potentially need to travel to support critical projects.

Experience with IT project management concepts and reporting. Proficient (oral and written) in English as a business language.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently on projects and collaborate as a contributing team member

Extremely detail-oriented and the ability to manage

Ability to research, analyze and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision and escalate issues as appropriate

  • Lead UX design teams in an agile framework through all phases of product development
  • Focus on outcome-based delivery
  • Drive change through modernization, adaptability, and innovation
  • Transform ideas, opportunities, research and creative vision into meaningful products and services that provide clear, usable, useful and delightful outcomes
  • Lead development of all UX assets and deliverables to ensure they are intuitive, relevant, thorough, easy to use, modern, and beautiful
  • Manage relationships guiding global business partners in the brands, regions and functions to brainstorm, ideate, create concepts and deliver amazing experiences
  • Work in collaboration with key project team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to design best practices, standards, and consistency
  • Have a deep commitment to the discipline and a strong focus on user empathy
  • Lead and inspire a cross disciplinary team with commitment, and quality of delivery
  • Ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows, mapping and information architecture skills
  • Fluency with modern design tools
  • Demonstrated experiences launching products, designing responsive services and applications, and delivering UX works within the agile framework
  • A natural storyteller that knows how to communicate with team, peers, and business leads
  • Ability to learn quickly and provide UX leadership in a dynamic and matrixed environment
  • Strong portfolio showing UX Design work
  • Create and scale departmental structures in support of a growing design team
  • Set best practices and process for the hiring of UI / UX talent within the organization
  • Create user flows, customer journey maps and interaction prototypes, to the standards of deliverables as set by the Director, User Experience
