-Product marketing specialist to help accelerate momentum for Oracle’s core network (3G, 4G, Security, Analytics and AI) solutions into digital service providers (CSPs) on a global basis.
Job Description – this product marketing role covers the following functional areas
1.Build Marketing Collateral
-Create compelling solution messaging and collateral including white papers, sales presentations, competitive positioning, RoI justifications, etc.
2.Drive Industry Thought Leadership and Awareness
-Build reference collateral around industry showcases and customer deployments to support thought leadership and awareness
3.Support Product / Solution Evolution
-Provide market requirements and ongoing product marketing participation into development

-2+ years technology/industry experience and BA/BS degree
-Role is for individual contributor working closely with the Director of Product Marketing
2.Communications Industry Knowledge
-Understanding of a CSP’s core network evolution strategies and approaches, existing solutions, investment drivers and IT issues
-Understanding of the communications industry in general and more specifically core network technologies and NFV/SDN and how they interrelate
-Familiarity with network technologies – specifically, 4G core network, IMS, VoLTE,NFV/SDN, NB IoT , 5G core network evolution, Cloud Native application framework and micro services, Network Analytics and AI – and how they are shaping future communications networks and impacting operations
3.Product Marketing knowledge
-Ability to independently create sales collateral (CxO level, solution level, product level), reference collateral, whitepapers, sales play books
-Ability to publish and continuously update collateral on internal and external locations
-Ability of supporting product or solution launches to both internal and external audiences
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Thrives in fast paced environment Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Practical experience using the Internet. 2 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree in marketing or technical major preferred.
