Candidatul ideal

For this role you will need :

  • University degree in Engineering - Chemistry, Physics would be a plus
  • Relevant experience in a similar position or in a commercial environment (technical support, quotations, technical sales);
  • Relevant knowledge of Oil & Gas process industry would be a plus
  • Languages : English advanced level (mandatory), any other foreign language is a plus;
  • PC skills : basic command of Microsoft Office, Internet;

    By joining us as a Sales Support Engineer, you will be responsible to provide technical and commercial support for all Emerson locations across Europe.

    In this role you will :

  • Provide technical and commercial support for sales offices;
  • Act as a liaison between sales offices factories customers;
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements;
  • Collaborate with sales, quality, manufacturing, marketing, management teams to ensure that an accurate and timely solution is provided;
  • Provide product and application information to external and internal customers;
  • Advise on sizing and selection of the products according to requirements and application;
  • Advise on the appropriate technical documentation;
  • Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, process inconsistencies;
  • Provide after-sales service including first-line troubleshooting to external and internal customers;
  • Provide general coordination and guidance of customer-related activities such as inspections, return of equipment, warranty, quality claims;
  • Verify the Intercompany Purchase Orders (PO) received from Europe and other World Areas to ensure correct order management;
  • Review the Intercompany Request for Quote (RFQ) received from Emerson locations in Europe and other World Areas;
  • Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released;
  • Ensure that activities are carried out according to agreed departmental KPIs and Procedures, and recorded in required business systems (constantly and comprehensively);
  • Pro-active management of personal backlog in accordance with the agreed procedures;
  • Conducting all business activities and all communication in a professional manner at all times;
  • Adhering to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities;
