For this role you will need :
University degree in Engineering - Chemistry, Physics would be a plus
Relevant experience in a similar position or in a commercial environment (technical support, quotations, technical sales);
Relevant knowledge of Oil & Gas process industry would be a plus
Languages : English advanced level (mandatory), any other foreign language is a plus;
PC skills : basic command of Microsoft Office, Internet;

By joining us as a Sales Support Engineer, you will be responsible to provide technical and commercial support for all Emerson locations across Europe.

In this role you will :
Provide technical and commercial support for sales offices;
Act as a liaison between sales offices factories customers;
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements;
Collaborate with sales, quality, manufacturing, marketing, management teams to ensure that an accurate and timely solution is provided;
Provide product and application information to external and internal customers;
Advise on sizing and selection of the products according to requirements and application;
Advise on the appropriate technical documentation;
Communicate with manufacturing locations for queries regarding lead-time, specials, process inconsistencies;
Provide after-sales service including first-line troubleshooting to external and internal customers;
Provide general coordination and guidance of customer-related activities such as inspections, return of equipment, warranty, quality claims;
Verify the Intercompany Purchase Orders (PO) received from Europe and other World Areas to ensure correct order management;
Review the Intercompany Request for Quote (RFQ) received from Emerson locations in Europe and other World Areas;
Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released;
Ensure that activities are carried out according to agreed departmental KPIs and Procedures, and recorded in required business systems (constantly and comprehensively);
Pro-active management of personal backlog in accordance with the agreed procedures;
Conducting all business activities and all communication in a professional manner at all times;
Adhering to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities;
