We are upgrading the capabilities of the Network Sourcing Team and are looking for a number of new heads including in country Carrier Relations Manager.

This person will implement the new structure effectively and improve support levels for backbone, GCN and other large bid / project-based activities.

Continued optimisation of the OLO estate, supplier pricing and its associate processes is required alongside support for new partnership opportunities.

Key accountabilities

  • Continuous development
  • Delivery of savings target and regular forecasting
  • Supplier relationship development & market strategy
  • Internal stakeholder support and project coordination (e.g. Sales, ONQT, O&E)
  • Global alignment and further development of related processes and data integrity
  • Role specific requirements

    Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of telecoms products, suppliers, market landscape
  • Good understanding of telecoms services contracts
  • Good experience of negotiating complex, high value deals at a senior level
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on substantial financial targets
  • Highly customer focused, open to innovation with a hands-on approach and keen to contribute towards transformational change
  • Good experience in procuring and working with DF / Infrastructure
  • Person specification

  • Qualifications

    Previous experience in dealing with infrastructure and or other telco products.

    Relationships and key contacts

    Develop positive working relationship with internal customers and other functions across all levels in the organisation

    Work with technical resources to ensure standard operating procedures are in place to manage support & future development

    Support network expansion, especially larger builds and rollouts in country and throughout the region.
