Global Functional Expert - SSP / RMCS-19000C9Q
Functionalexpert regarding SSP (Standalone Selling Price) for RMCS (Revenue ManagementCloud Services) and other system solutions required until full implementationof RMCS.
Providesliaison between various groups for development of automated SSP solutions andongoing maintenance.Groups couldinclude, but are not limited to PD, OAL, RevRec Development, RevRec FV teamand various LOBs.
Understandand apply ASC606 standard requirements, specifically related to SSP and RevenueAllocations, including the Residual Approach method.
Participatein workshops and reviews / updates of documentation related to RMCS and other SSPsolutions as needed.
Identifyand solution system deficiencies.Thiswill require working closely with the RevRec Core team, GDRT, RevRec FV team,PD, OAL and RevRec Development to determine required workarounds and long-termsolutions.
Responsiblefor developing and implementing activities in project management databasessurrounding integration, maintenance and new requirements of the SSP andRevenue Allocation process.
This includes but it not limited to testing participation,engagements with other Process and System owners, awareness of businessprocess, coordination of enhancement requirements, acting as the main BusinessPOC for OAL and Development teams, system documentation and overall strategicplanning for the end to end process related to SSP and Revenue Allocations.
Pre-RMCS Solutioning & OngoingMaintenance
MEA(Multiple Element Arrangement) 3rd Reviews, includes reviewing MEAtemplates submitted by analysts for completeness, proper usage and systemfunctionality.
Assistanalysts with MEA templates as needed
Identifyingand solutioning MEA items with RevRec Development team.
Identifyingexceptions to be addressed with RevRec FV team and Technical teams.Includes developing solutions, temporarywork-
arounds when needed and documenting solutions.
Systemmaintenance of mappings and SSP tables based on requirements from the RevRec FVteam.Includes working with RevRecDevelopment team for set up, mapping and calculations of any new offerings.
Quarterly606 MEA reporting for EY and management.Includes working with RevRec Development to create new reporting whenneeded.
Assistwith training and documentation requirements.
RMCS Project &Ongoing Maintenance
Identifyingprocess & system deficiencies.Logging ERs and working with PD and OAL contacts where needed to resolvedeficiencies.
DocumentingSSP requirements for RMCS SSP Solution.
Assistingwith RMCS test case scenarios, includes providing SSP for test cases andtesting revenue allocations.
Workwith PD and OAL on SSP Solution for RMCS.Includes setup, integration with RMCS and other systems, testing and bugresolution.
Workwith Cross Functional teams to revise processes where needed forautomation.Includes solutioning,testing and documentation.
Workwith PD and OAL for enhancement requests needed in feeder systems forsystematic automation of SSP (OM, PA, etc.)
Maintenanceof mappings and SSP tables in SSP solution after go-live.Working with RevRec FV team who provides theupdates needed.
Experience with Oracle Applicationshighly preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Ensures that revenue is recognized in accordance with Corporate and SEC standards. Provides direction to sales organization prior to contracts being concluded.
As a member of Revenue Accounting you will assist in the processing of revenue impacting adjustments and reconciling balance sheet account.
Monitor revenue, reconcile receivables, and unearned accounts. Work with internal customers to resolve related revenue inquiries.
Assist in facilitating the automation of current processes and procedures. You may participate in special projects.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.
Prefer strong analytical, prioritization and communication skills in partnering with other internal groups and management.
Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets is essential. Familiarity with Oracle Financials is essential. 8 years accounting experience and BA / BS degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Some positions need you to be bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
