As part of the Pan-European consumer video (TV) team, the user experience expert contributes to designing and delivering consumer video solutions (OTT, PayTV)
Act as evangelist of User experience improvement across the whole video ecosysteme.Stongly understands business targets and technology background, delivers superior user experience.
Able to engage in constructive discussion both tech and business experts how to optimize user experience.
Responsible for delivering of best in class UX, streamlines user stories, optimizes non-functional performance.
Impoves performance KPIs (load times, video quality, stability) of the applications, monitors quality, service availability.
Feedbacks production / operation learnings into developments in order to continuously improve user experience
Works closely with business owners, design agencies, achitecture and client experts.
Detailed job description, responsibilities :
Act as user experience expert for Video / TV technology development related projects in cross-country video service developments
Owns the UX topic. Provides technical solutions for analytics. Translates business targets into technology solutions
Advocate of User experience in High Level Solution Designs, feasibility studies, architecture concepts and technical Functional and Non-
Functional Requirement Specification as well as acceptance test procedures.
Coordinates internal and external vendors within the projects
Reviewes technical studies and design proposals from user experience point of view
Master’s in computer science, Information Technology / Systems, User interactions / app design or related field
Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field :
3-5 years of experience in large scale international consumer service company (e.g. IT / technology consultancy, big tech giants (FAMGA), e-commerce, telco)
Strong understanding of drivers of user experince, best practices of service industry.
Proven track record in application development at international, large B2C service providers
Experince with TV / OTT video, video on demand, media delivery or any other broadcast, streaming or content management related technologies / projects is considered as a plus.
Language skills :
English language fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
Interpersonal, communication skills :
Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak and write at both senior and junior levels within the organization
Strong analytical skills; the ability to see at both the helicopter view and focus on details, if required.
Proven ability / experience working in a multi layered international matrix organization
Experience in working with international teams (direct & indirect) from different cultural backgrounds and experience in managing external resources ensuring clarity, collaboration and efficiency
Excellent team player
Strong and dynamic individual, with the ability to thrive under pressure
Solid use of agile methodologies, practices.
