Description

This position is part of the Global Cocoa & Chocolate Management Information & Decision Support (MIDS) team tasked with management reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

This position is responsible in providing information and financial analysis that provides insight, assessing historic & current business performance, enhances decision making, and providing the view regarding performance and opportunities that exist for further investigation and / or improvements by FP&A and commercial team.

This position will support process improvements by delivering new technology solutions to management reporting and will support report standardization and rationalization.

This position will be expected to partner closely with the business and other finance domains (ie Accounting & Reporting-

A&R, Finance Risk management-FRM, and FP&A). This position requires strong financial analysis, leadership, business acumen, risk management, influencing and change management skills.

Major Tasks

  • Demonstrate strong financial management skills to gather financial data, evaluate and analyze financial statements. Keeps pace with changing relevant regulations, standards, and business factors that may impact financial performance.
  • Review existing reports to optimize, standardize, and define the new reports which will measure business performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting and analysis of business performance (Profit and Loss, Gross Investment, cost analysis, commentary, KPIs, Metrics).
  • Partner effectively with A&R, MI&DS and FP&A for reporting and data needs, defining which performance indicators will be needed to explain / measure business performance and the frequency design and deliver the reports with the right level of analysis.

  • Understand legacy systems and develop a strong management information system / process.
  • Able to continuously improve the level of management reporting within the team.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from FP&A and commercial teams as per the business needs.
  • Responds to moderately complex ad hoc requests with constructive and high quality solutions.
  • Provide commentary and initial analysis and interpretation of the results to the business.
  • Support the corporate budgeting and monitoring, including control of expenses, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Support and implement process simplifications, automations and enhancements to standardize and improve business information and reporting through leveraging technology (Tableau, Power BI, SAP).
  • Provide input and identify opportunities to improve data integrity and usefulness for effective management reporting and implements as appropriate.
  • Keep updated to improvements.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelordegree in Accounting / Finance or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3years of accounting or finance experience
  • AdvancedExcel and data analytics including demonstrated ability for use of BI tools
  • Provenaccounting, finance professional with strong analytical skills
  • Experienceleveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities andaid in decision making
  • Demonstratedcommitment to Internal Controls
  • Stronginterpersonal skills
  • Demonstratedflexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Curiosity
  • Able toadapt and learn new technology and tools

  • Understandingand experience working with JDE, SAP, will be preferred
  • Broad / diversecommercial knowledge, preferred
  • Workingknowledge of MS office, Tableau / Power BI, Alteryx and otherinterrogation / visualization tools will be preferred
  • Ability toinfluence through analysis
  • Experiencewith multiple businesses and / or international business experience, preferred
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, processoptimization, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability tocommunicate and use visualization tools (e.g. dashboards) to tell the story.
