Job Description
To ensure Problem Resolution with Suppliers for non-conforming material delivered to Garrett plants, identification of the root cause of the issue and implementation of immediate corrective action with plant SQA team & permanent corrective action.
Ensure Suppliers will meet Garrett expectations in terms of Quality Performance for all components in serial production.
As our new colleague, you will be in charge with :
Manage the CARs for non-conform supplied components, incl. raise of CAR in the system, follow up for closure in 30 days, escalation, validation of containment, corrective and preventive actions and drives resolution plans.
CSL management
Supports and validates proper application of automotive Quality tools & techniques (PFMEA, SPC, 8D )
Monitors supplier performance metrics and deploys improvement plans accordingly
Performs periodic visits at supplier’s sites and tracks gap closure / action plans closure
Actively ensures deployment of lessons learnt and best practices at supplier and its sharing across organization, incl.
transversal deployment of corrective and preventive action to all suppliers
Support RMRA approval process
Collaborates with the Garrett Plants in case of Services Suppliers’ Homologation
Global NCM reduction plan per supplier
Leading 4 blocks preparation in case of CIV and communication with CQE
Lead task force in case of quality crisis at supplier impacting deliveries
Regularly follow up and inform the suppliers and Garrett required functions about the quality performance of assigned suppliers.
Participate to the HOS meetings when required by Plant Quality in case of risk of production stoppage
Assist Plant SQA in organizing the required Supplier Meeting in the Garrett plants and weekly face to face supplier days
Support Quarterly scorecard deck preparation
Contributes to Gross Matex achievement with ideas on waste reduction and product / process improvements
Experience & Education required :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and significant work experience
Technical background in automotive or aerospace industry
Manufacturing plant and Production process experience
Fluent in English
Communication in a clear and concise manner
Strong leadership demonstrated within SBM, cross-functionally and at suppliers
Excellent personal organization and capable to plan and manage his own work
Work experience in a matrix environment within multinational teams
Ability to meet commitments, results oriented, effective team work skills
Strong organizational skills to prioritize and execution of action plans
Know quality core tool ( PFMEA / CONTROL PLAN / SPC / MSA / 8D process )
