Coordination with the AIS planning the creation (local) of Initial sample reports (PPAP's)
Coordination of the initial sampling dates and data between customers and Production plants to support the PMS
Interface between the German and the US team
Capacity analysis according Germany ContiTech standards
Being the voice of the customer in the APQP process
Responsible for the release of measurement equipment, gauges, fixtures and tools.
Creation / maintenance of inspection and test plans and documents.
Coordination of the release of purchased parts (Vendor and ICO parts) with the PMS.
Preparation of pre-production control plan and production schedule.
Coordinate the creation of series control plan.
Planning, together with Application Engineering the annual requalification test.
Check the drawings for compliance with internal policies and all quality relevant subjects / special characteristics
Documenting deviations or conditions in coordination with Application Engineering.
Participate in internal process series, as well as customer-process series.
Check the product and / or process-specific documents correctness / completeness.
Initiating together with Process Engineering and supporting the needed process capability studies
Participation in FMEA (design and process), including transfer of causes / actions from complaints
Processing of pre-series complaints (8D), as well as coordination of complaints between PMS plants in global projects
Monitoring the execution of corrective action.
Use the tools of quality and other statistical methods to solve manufacturing problems.
Provide analysis and judgment to production regarding acceptability of product for customer use.
Support new product APQP introduction and investigation activities including review of PFMEA and initial control plans.
Review control plans and gauges for assembly and for improvements. Direct Gauge R&R studies.
Problem solving analyses for customer and supplier defects, create countermeasure reports, and present as required.
Participate in the Internal Auditing Program.
Provide expertise in SPC concepts including process stability, capability, and reaction to out of control situations. Qualifications Academic degree.
Minimum 3 years working experience.
Preferable automotive / technical background.
English advanced.
