Brief Description: Will work as part of a team in testing applications andimages that are released via MyDesktop, Oracle Base Images, and Oracle internalAppstore.
Detailed Description: Asa member of the Global IT Employee Services, this role is part of a testingteam focused on designing/developing test scripts and performing QA for allapps we deliver for Oracle employees. The role demands for someone who isa disciplined self-starter, able to manage development projects/tasks tocompletion on schedule, able to understand tools/application functionality andrequirements and test them accordingly, and equally able to collaborateopenly and share responsibilities across a geographically distributed team and withother LOBs and virtual teams.
·Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Sciences or in related fields
·5+years QA experience in Windows, macOS, iOS/Android environments
·Understanding of Windows operating systems including newfeatures and business models.
·Experience with Windowsdeployment and test solutions
·Proven knowledge of PC/mobile devices and hardwarearchitecture
·Proven track record in the installation, configuration,administration, and troubleshooting of Windows/mobile (iOS/Android) hardwareand operating systems
·Experience w/ testing automation is a plus
·Experience w/ scripting using Java, Powershell, Python, C#etc is a plus
·Project management experience is a plus
·Some experience with Unix, Linux, NFS, DNS, networktopologies and firewall is a plus
·Interpersonal and communication skills and ability toestablish good working relationships with others

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
