Wolters Kluwer is a well-established fintech player in the Regulatory Reporting technology space, developing technology solutions used by financial institutions worldwide to do their regulatory filings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for General Ledger accounting You will : Provide expert professional Finance / Accounting support on an international level.
Run weekly payments (run payment program, edit and check proposals, monitor payment files). Reconcile account statements.
Check G / L postings. Clear sub ledger accounts. Check interest scales and bank fees. Prepare and input the General Ledger documents (such as expense notes, salaries, accruals / deferrals etc.
Participate in the monthly and yearly closures. Collect appropriate data and create federal, state, and local reports as well as tax returns.
Experience and knowledge : At least a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from a four-year college or University or equivalent training or experience At least 3-5 years Finance / Accounting experience.
Some assignments may require supervisory experience. Requires thorough knowledge of generally accepted international accounting principles.
Fluency in English. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software, strong MIS skills, SAP knowledge is a plus Creative and forward thinking.
