The Warehouse Operator position, as part of the Supply Chain business unit, insures the good distribution process in Alcon Romania Warehouse.

Major Accountabilities

  • Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
  • Operate the acquisitions of products in JDE operating system
  • Collecting / packing / dispatching orders for customers ensuring that they are accompanied by the appropriate documents
  • Deliver orders to the customers in Bucharest
  • Assist and monitor the interventions of the service provider at the warehouse
  • Ensure accuracy of all inventories
  • Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
  • Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries
  • Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items according to SOP in place
  • Monitor incoming supplies for quantity and quality
  • Interact and collaborate with technical service, customer service and sales department
  • Comply with Alcon’s Postmarketing Surveillance policies as well as all Romanian regulations regarding pharmacovigilance, cosmetovigilance and incidents forwards within 24 hours from first receipt all Alcon’s product reporting, and complaints (quality or medical) to the Local Vigilance Responsible Person
  • Collection and transfer of all available information and documentation for any Product Complaint (Adverse Events and Medical Device Malfunctions) and Event of Special Interest associated with Alcon Product(s) upon learning of any such occurrences to LVR or deputy LVR within 1 calendar days;
  • participation in follow-up activities and vigilance training

  • Minimum Requirements

    Language : Romanian native, English medium

    Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' of experience in warehousing
  • Advanced user level of Microsoft office is a MUST
  • Advantage

  • Working experience in a healthcare company.
