This role is an opportunity to join Project Fusion (Workday implementation) as a member of the local project team, focusing on the on E2E HR processes mapping and validation in ABB Romania.

In this role, you will support the Fusion Country Lead and be responsible for working with the global project team to design ABB’s future HR processes.

It is about fully unleashing and harvesting the opportunities of an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons, delivering a superior user experience for employees, line managers, applicants, and HR professionals.

This project role is limited until end of July 2023, with the possibility to extend depending on the project timeline

Your responsibilities

  • Participate to all E2E mapping Country Workshops aiming to operationalize E2E Global Blueprints locally
  • Ahead of Country Workshops, thoroughly own the knowledge and understanding of E2E Global Blueprint processes, i.e. all HR-related process steps happening within Workday and outside Workday
  • Analyze in the local context all legal, fiscal, regulatory requirements and track any required deviations from the global designed standard process
  • Customize and adjust the E2E process mapping at country level in accordance with the instructions from the global team and in collaboration with relevant functional representatives, to ensure correct Workday configuration.
  • Support the Country Project Lead, by keeping project timelines, submitting and monitoring deliverables, create status reports and coordinate the project plan
  • Actively contribute to the technical and organizational Local Change Impact Assessment, detailing the local impacts arising from the new processes, ways of working and job responsibilities.
  • Together with Local IS, assess the IS impact of the future processes designed and give inputs on applications to be adapted or decommissioned.
  • Provide the needed inputs for the local configuration of UKG, the new system to generate, sign and archive our documents globally
  • Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management, HR or related discipline
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and preferably process mapping experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years in an HR generalist role, previous experience in HR system implementation will be considered as an important advantage
  • Logical thinking and ability to understand in depth operational HR processes.
  • Open to both administrative work as well as more complex conceptual work
  • Structured thinking, detail orientation and strong communication skills
  • Collaborative working style appreciating the inclusion of geographies, levels, functions, and cultures.
  • Proficiency in English, MS Office, digital collaboration tools / platforms, working knowledge with Workday is a plus
