Job Description

The Operations Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of WNS-Denali and client on / offboarding, training management, and other people processes for a large, global WNS-Denali procurement services team.

He or she is also responsible for drafting, updating, and managing the team’s documentation and reporting related to people processes (e.

g. on / offboarding instructions, training plans, organization charts, bios, and other employee-related materials).

A successful Operations Manager will ensure that the team is aware of all training opportunities and requirements for both the client and WNS-Denali.

To support team training, he or she will manage the non-technical aspects of the internal knowledge sites, which includes adding and removing files and ensuring all materials are current and available.

He or she will be actively involved in the team’s recruiting process, which includes entering hiring requests, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and providing feedback.

This role will act as the liaison with the WNS-Denali Technology team to ensure digital enablers are implemented in a coordinated way.

He or she will support change management and communication planning for the account across a suite digital services.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable leading and participating in discussions across levels and cultures.

He or she will be passionate about people and helping them to succeed in their procurement roles.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties :

  • Manage global talent management (except performance management) for an 80+ person team
  • Draft, update, and manage documentation to support talent management and people processes
  • Ensure team is aware of training opportunities and compliant with requirements
  • Manage the internal team site with an eye for how to improve the layout, content, and user acceptance
  • Participate in the recruiting process (e.g. entering requisitions, liaising with HR, reviewing resumes, and interviewing candidates)
  • Liaise with the WNS-Denali Technology team to support the implementation and acceptance of a suite of procurement digital enablers.
  • Qualifications

  • Firm understanding of talent management and people processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide custom solutions to address resourcing challenges
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence others
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required
  • MBA or master’s degree in supply chain, operations, or business preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in human resources, operational management, project management or procurement services
  • Understanding of human resources systems and recruiting preferred
  • Prior experience interacting with large, global, multi-layered teams preferred
