How could you help us do this?

We need an to join our team in Bucharest and who will lead and supervise the service delivery and operations of transactional payroll processes for our Centre of Excellence in Bucharest.

What kind of work would you be doing?

  • Lead a team of individual contributors, provides mentoring and guidance to the team of payroll SMEs;
  • Provide complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives;
  • Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope;
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to the business;
  • Lead business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design;
  • Represent the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes;
  • Support Payroll Management in review and analysis of key controls within the domain of responsibility to ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements (e.g., GAAP, SBC, AFM).

    What achievements should you have so far?

  • Certifications in Payroll (FPC) will be an added advantage;
  • 6+ years of previous experience in End to End payroll processes is a must;
  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.

  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis and great analytical skills;
  • Preferred experience in the implementation of a payroll solution and good experience of implementing of target operating models;
  • The ability to interact with stakeholders and employees and to improve the experience of customer service while managing their expectations;
  • In order to be able to build meaningful relationships with all of your colleagues in this region, we do need a fluent English speaker;
  • If you also have a degree in a relevant subject (economic, finance, business operations), great!
