We are looking for a Head of Finance to be responsible of the local financial activities in Bucharest.
Within the framework of the entity policy defined by the Group under the authority of the CEO / Chief of Staff and within the context of :
The strategic framework

The development action plan
The annual notified Budget
The processes and Policies setup by the Group
You will secure the budget preparation and realization, as well as to drive mutualization efforts of the Entity you will have to fulfill the following assignments in the context of your duties as CFO :
Transformation & strategy
Contributes to the Strategy definition of the Branch / Entity and to Budget preparation, and ensures the implementation and application thereof.
Member of Local Executive Committee;
Contributes to the building and monitoring the Entity's Roadmap, and to the adjustments if necessary.
Business activity steering & control
Is accountable and responsible for budget realization : Balance Sheet, ALMT, ADR, Assets, and Specific costs saving plans, Capital Requirements;
Implement, harmonize and adapt, at local level, the central BNPP PF Financial models, procedures and policies
Leads actions for the Finance departments, including Management Control, Accounting, Planning and Reporting;
Build and monitor the Budget execution, alert and propose corelative measures for budget exceedings
Ensure the accounting and financial registers and documentation are updated, stored and can be retrieved upon formal requests of the authorities, auditors and Central
Validate the montlhy closing exercises, balance sheets, quarterly budget review and all other related routines in the Financial perimeter
Support other maangers in the budget planning and follow-up, providing advice and support when required.
Support the General Manager and Chief of Staff on the preparation of meetings and steering committees, providing the required information from the Finance perimeter
Supports business development by building Business Plans, Financial analytics to orient business strategy.
Guarantees relationship and reporting with local regulators, professional bodies, other institutions and Financial Auditors;
Responsible for key projects concerning the Finance Department;
Makes decision and decides delegation thresholds according to the responsibilities or delegations received;
Leads, negotiates and controls local Suppliers and Contractors in compliance with the Group policies, in the framework of service agreements;
Collaborate regularly with any Shared Service Center (SSC) within his / her perimeter of mission, control the services’ delivery, quality levels and budget as defined at regional level and within the SLA.
Promotes cooperation and synergies with other PF and other BNP Paribas entities.
Represents the entity in Central Function Events, Forums and workgroups
Act as the Single Point of Contact for Financial topics for Central Functions teams
Manages local resources and develops local skills in accordance with Group core values, through continuous training and insurance of improvement of their professional career;
Regularly appraises and feedbacks to his / her employees on their work and proposes development opportunities;
Guarantees knowledge and implementation of Group Code of Ethics, Rules and Policies within the Branch / Entity;
Generates employee engagement by sharing vision and ambition of the Region and of the Branch / Entity;
Guarantees 1st and 2nd control level achievement;
Monitor and take the proper actions regarding risks, according to the policies established by the Group
Ensure the controls, procedures and policies management are published, updating and validating all necessary changes whenever they are required
Alerts and reports to the local CEO / Chief of Staff and functionally to the ADM CFO.
Responsible to inform and involve the respective Regional manager as intermediary in all communication with PF Central teams or PF General Management teams;
Achieves specific missions, projects or delegations assigned by the hierarchical manager.
You will report to CEO / Chief of Staff in Romania and to ADM CFO based in France.
