The BI Developer Position

We are looking for BI Developers who share our passion for consistently delighting clients through insightful, outcome-oriented analytics to join our team.

We deliver solutions using a variety of tools through collaborative teams, focused on deeply understanding client needs through an agile, human-centered approach.

Our most effective consultants are thoughtful problem solvers able to understand critical success factors with requisite attention to detail.

They think critically about business, process, and data, and thrive in ambiguity. Our ideal team member loves interacting with a wide variety of clients, exploring new problems in novel ways and contributes to a supportive, cross-functional environment while being self-directed.

They take pride in their work yet are humble and open to feedback from all, with a curiosity and desire to continuously learn, expand, and deepen their skillset.

Candidates are expected to have experience implementing BI solutions in a leading technology (such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or ThoughtSpot) and are comfortable working virtually and asynchronously.

The Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with team members to serve clients :
  • This may include designers, data architects, team leads, technical and business client stakeholders, executives, etc.
  • Adapt to each project and client to maximize effectiveness.
  • Virtually and asynchronously develop analytics solutions, from data preparation to implementation :
  • Data modeling for analytics
  • Implement solutions using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, ThoughtSpot
  • Test, deploy, support
  • Help identify new opportunities to serve clients
  • Improve yourself, continuously.
  • Help your peers improve by capturing and sharing your knowledge.
  • Help Axis improve through feedback and contributions to internal initiatives and culture.
  • Excellent English communication skills , both written and verbal (B2 / C1).

    • Nice to have :

  • Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, ThoughtSpot etc.)
  • Knowledge of databases SQL / NoSQL
  • Knowledge of date warehouse
  • Knowledge of ETL process
