Responsibilities :

  • Deliver basic Cisco Voice and Video solutions : CUCM, Voice Gateways, CUC, VCS, TMS and Virtual Telepresence Server;
  • Address end user requests and trouble reports;
  • Assist with the day to day operations of the Cisco telephony and Call Center environment;
  • Assist Communications Engineer with planning and designing of voice systems and solutions as well as implementation of modifications as required;
  • Maintain documentation for telecom related processes;
  • Provide after hours on-call support if needed.
  • Requirements :

    We are looking for an Unified Communication Technician with :

  • Knowledge and experience with voice and video products including Cisco Unified Communications Manager / Call Manager (v10.
  • 5 and greater) , Cisco Voice Gateways, Cisco Unity Connections, Cisco Switches, VCS, TMS and Telepresence servers

  • Experience in configuration of base CUCM components, such as hardware based IP phones, soft phones, end user profiles, voice mail and other common elements of Cisco phone systems;
  • Ability to investigate and respond to alarms raised by monitoring tools on systems;
  • Good understanding Cisco QoS principles;
  • Excellent customer relationship skills;
  • Excellent English communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to work both independently and in a group;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and office products.
