In this position, you will get to : In our EMEA shared service center in Brasov :

  • Workforce planning Plan and allocate resources of the AP team to have the best utilization of resources for the EMEA entities in scope at all times;
  • Participate in the recruitment process by conducting interviews and evaluating candidates;Drive strong performance management in the team through clear expectations, objectives, KPI’s, performance reviews and active feedback;
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development of team membersBuild a strong team-player mentality and drive diversity

  • Customer relations Build up and maintain good working relations with other internal departments such as vendor data administration, procurement, general ledger teams, treasury, FP&A, internal audit;
  • Operational support Act as point of contact in case of escalations (both internal and towards external vendors) to timely resolve issues;
  • Support and monitor month-end closing activities;Review and approve batch and manual bank payments, manual AP journals and other AP activities in the ERP systemsAccountable for internal control compliance for all accounts payable activitiesEnsure monthly OneStream account reconciliations for AP are timely completed with quality supporting documentation

  • Operational effectiveness Monitor KPI’s of the team;Actively identify and pursue process improvements and work with internal and external customers to implement;
  • Explore and lead innovative solutions and initiatives to eliminate highly manual tasksStandardize and harmonize processes wherever possibleChallenge and optimize team performance.

    YOU HAVE :

  • Academic background : University degree in accounting, finance or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience in or with : 5+ years of experience in Finance Shared Service Center environment 3+ years of people management experience
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Proven demonstrable performance in Accounts Payable Operations Management role Effective at dealing with people and diversity at all levels in an international environment Demonstrate a proactive approach to resolve problems and drive operational effectiveness Strategic thinker and results oriented Strong negotiator with excellent communication skills English excellent verbal and written communication skills required Other languages skills would be an asset Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel Extensive experience with financial ERP systems, M3 and SAP would be an asset AP automation and T&E systems experience Esker and Concur would be an asset.
