As our new IT Manager I4.0 / Smart Factory, you will be in charge with building and maintaining effective relations between IT and internal business management to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
Once you understand internal customers and their businesses, you will be responsible with assessing opportunities, challenges, and weaknesses facing the internal business community and serve the internal client’s needs in keeping pace with the dynamics of the business.
You are expected to actively identify new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or step change improvements in business processes by delivering on time, cutting edge solution to Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Operations function.
Business Partner responsibilities in the area of Factory Digitization, end-to-end traceability, connecting to cloud and bringing real time differentiated data insights to bring productivity.
Manage a team of architects, developers, program managers to develop the smart factory / innovation lab.
Partner with key staff members to create strategic business plans, roadmap on digitizing factory assets
Responsible for the development and implementation of I4.0 / Smart Factory solutions to ensure successful introductions across the organization and with customers;
Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets for respective business areas;
Develop solution concepts, solution architecture, business case analysis and propose recommendations;
Build a team with internal IT architects, developers, testers and contract service workers;
Communicate status through operations reviews to IT Leadership;
Manage supplier governance through periodic reviews;
Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.
Identify, screen and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet internal customer needs
Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and managing product phase-in-phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio;
Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards
Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals
Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors;
Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members and external resources.
Master’s degree in information technology, Computer science, related fields
10+ years of relevant experience in IT
Strong leadership, program- and change management skills
Well versed in Industry 4.0 solution execution, Architecture Design, IoT and Data Analytics
Deep understanding of Manufacturing Process, Operational execution Excellence;
Experienced in Risk-Change Management and Cost-Benefit Analysis;
Very good analytical skills to measure and drive key business decisions on process & systems;
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment;
