Business Support Specialist

Role purpose :

Supports the Senior Leadership Team member of Group Data Centre (GDC) (Head of Departments) to ensure efficient and effective delivery management, supporting, consulting, mentoring, facilitating and driving the Group Data Centre organization through the delivery cycle.

Interact as central SPOC for GDC Senior Leadership team within her / his Management team / community

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business :

  • Support in enabling the priority initiatives in the respective GDC Departments (Technology Evaluation, Cloud Strategy, Operational Excellence, Security, Automation etc)
  • Support the GDC Senior Leadership in the overall GDC Transformation Programme
  • Interact as central SPOC for GDC Senior Leadership team within her / his Management team / community
  • Analyse / create KPI reports, define and propose action points (various data sources Remedy, SNOW PPM, Demand & Financial Management tool etc)
  • Create on regular bases presentation at C Level, for the GDC Senior Leadership team
  • Support the relevant GDC Leadership team in setting up online presence and communications (Workplace, SharePoint etc.)
  • Support the preparation of strategic customer review meetings (Monthly Service Review Meetings / Quarterly SLT Review meetings etc)
  • Prepare Agenda’s for Management Team meetings and workshops
  • Ensure that all Action Points for Management team are captured and followed up
  • Represent the respective GDC department in the overall GDC Governance community
  • With these skills you are a great candidate :

  • Strong experience in engagement with Senior Leadership
  • Strong communication and decision making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests
  • Knowledge of operational procedures and process standards (e.g. ITIL)
  • Experience of working in large multi-national, matrix based organisations
  • Well-developed technical knowledge across a broad range of IT topics
  • Strong stakeholder management
